‘A great all-rounder, best suitable for off-road and on-road applications’ was how the judging panel described the Renault Trucks Range K480 8×4 in awarding it ‘Fleet Transport Irish Construction Truck of the Year 2018’.
Elected by a judging panel of industry experts, the Range K480 was up against a tightly contested group of 8 vehicles from all leading manufacturers in the construction truck sector.
The award was presented to Harry Nash of Setanta Vehicle Importers, Renault Trucks’ Irish representatives and Richard Voigt, Renault Trucks’ Regional Business Manager for Scotland and Ireland during the Fleet Transport Awards Gala Banquet held at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin on Thursday, 28th September 2017. Master of Ceremonies for the event was TV personality Marty Whelan with entertainment by The Camembert Quartet, also known as The Late Late Show band.
Accepting the Irish Construction Truck of the Year 2018 award, Harry Nash said:
